Ten more licence plates that put the ‘dic’ in ridiculous
Yes, it’s Hong Kong vanity plates time again. Another ten vehicular inanities hot on the wheels of the last batch.
It seems all I do now is take, edit, upload and post photographs of Hong Kong’s growing army of personalised licence plates. There are so many, in fact, that I’ve had to start being selective. There’s no room for numbers. There’s no room for names unless they are particularly ridiculous. CHRISTINA, for instance, didn’t make the grade. Though if I ever saw FANNY, it most certainly would.
I’m also becoming increasingly exasperated by the fact that I seem to see the best licence plates when I don’t have my camera with me. And given that pretty much the only time I don’t have my camera with me is when I’m out running, the prevalence for hilarity to drive by during this short cameraless window, is starting to seem something more than just coincidence.
BANZAI and SUMO. DINOSAUR, BIG MAC, and best of all, TOM CRUZ, have all mocked my inability to prove my sighting of them in the last week. All of which means, that until my dying breath, my quest to capture their magnificence will not cease until I have them safely stored on compact flash. In the meantime, check out these latest ten, and try not to lose too much sleep over my, and indeed our, sad loss.
