John Wood is the main course reporter.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the US Open&#8217;s first visit to Los Angeles in 75 years, so expect the tournament to take on a little extra glitz and glamour.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos Angeles is a great sports town.  It\u2019s just an incredible sports town,\u201d says Hicks.  \u201cLook at all the great history you have there, all the iconic moments.  We&#8217;re getting started, this is only the second US Open there.  Ben Hogan won at Riviera.  It was time to go back.
