Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame Bebika Dhurve opens up about quitting Bhagyalakshmi; says: ‘Co-Stars treated me badly’
Bebika Dhurve, currently a contestant in the Bigg Boss house, wasted no time in making friends and sharing her personal journey of becoming a dentist and pursuing acting while working in the UAE. Although she made her television debut with the show Bhagyalakshmi starring Rohit Suchanti and Aishwarya Khare, her stint on the show was short-lived as she chose to quit. During a recent interview, Bebika spoke about her decision to leave Bhagyalakshmi and said that it was not influenced by her participation in Bigg Boss OTT 2 but rather due to other circumstances.
Reflecting on her experience, Bebika said, “My journey with the show has been an adventure. It was a difficult path for me to get into the production and secure the role. I auditioned for three years before landing the show. As a newcomer on set, I learned about acting and being in front of the camera for the first time.”
She continued: “During that time, I went through a phase in my personal life where some of my co-stars treated me badly and I had unpleasant experiences with the cast and crew. So my decision to quit the show was not because of Bigg Boss OTT 2 but rather because of the mistreatment I faced on the sets.”
Talking about her quick transition to participating in Bigg Boss OTT 2, Bebika remarked, “I didn’t expect such a wonderful opportunity to come my way so quickly. From my experience, I would like to convey to you that you should not lose hope in difficult times. A better life and a happier phase awaits on the other side. I consider Bhagyalakshmi as my testing phase and now I think everything will turn out well for me.”
When asked about who she would choose to bring into the Bigg Boss house from her friends and co-stars, Bebika excitedly shared, “I would love to have my father (grandmother) from Bhagyalakshmi in the house. She is incredibly fun and entertaining. We could have engaging conversations and provide a lot of fan entertainment together.”
