Dear readers, enjoy! Netflix gives Bridgerton fans get their first look at the upcoming third season of Shondaland’s hit costume drama, with new photos of the show’s newest it couple, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
As part of the streamer’s TUDUM event, viewers were happy to release images of the fan-favorite duo taking center stage in Season 3. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story excitement, the iconic series is gearing up for its next chapter.

The show, this time by Jess Brownell, the season is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica and Chris Van Dusen. As viewers recall, Penelope and Colin didn’t leave things on a positive note in the Season 2 finale when he overheard him talking to friends, suggesting that he would never explore the possibility of a relationship with her.

Heartbroken by the eavesdropping revelation and her big fight with bestie Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Penelope hit the pen and paper in Bridgerton Final moments of Season 2, reprising her role as Lady Whistledown after a short hiatus. So where will season 3 take her next? Deciding it’s time to get a husband, Penelope opts to look for someone who will give her enough independence to continue the gig with Lady Whistledown and escape her mother and sisters.

Her lack of confidence is ominous as she fails miserably while working at the marriage shop. As for Colin, he returned from his summer travels with a new look and a sense of mastery. But he is disheartened to realize that Penelope is giving him the cold shoulder after she was a person who always appreciated him for who he was.
Eager to win back their friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the trusted ways to help her find a husband. When the lessons start to work a little too well, Colin will have to wrestle with whether his feelings for Penelope are just friendly or something more. Her ongoing breakup with Eloise will also cause complications when it comes to her alter ego Whistledown.
