Netflix’s delightfully sweet teen drama Heartstopper heads to the city of light in the official Season 2 trailer, as Nick (Kit Connor), Charlie (Joe Locke) and friends head to Paris.
As teased in the full trailer, Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship, which is publicly limited as Nick continues to struggle with the idea of coming out. Meanwhile, Tara (Corinna Brown) and Darcy (Kizzy Edgell) face unforeseen challenges, and Tao (William Gao) and Elle (Yasmin Finney) must figure out if they can ever be more than just friends.
Mix in the stress of exams on the horizon, their big school trip to Paris and a prom to plan, and the gang has quite a lot to juggle as they navigate the next stages of their lives, love and friendships.
It’s set to arrive starting Thursday, August 3, with eight brand new episodes, Heartstopper Season 2 is written and created by Alice Oseman, who works alongside series stars Connor, Locke, Finney, Gao, Brown, Edgell, Sebastian Croft, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Jenny Walser, Cormac Hyde-Corrin and Olivia Colman.
The See-Saw Films production is directed by Euros Lyn, who is executive producing alongside Oseman, Patrick Walters, Iain Canning and Emile Sherman.
