‘heartstopper’ season 2 kicks off with sweet

Heartstopper Season 2 is off to such a sweet and adorable start!

As part of its Tudum event, Netflix released the opening scene of Heartstopper Season 2 (premiering Thursday, August 3), featuring an introduction to stars Corinna Brown (Tara Jones) and Kizzy Edgell (Darcy Olsson).

The clip opens with Charlie (Joe Locke) waking up to an alarm and a text from Nick (Kit Connor): “Hi,” with a heart. Their messages continue back and forth as Charlie gets dressed, eats breakfast, and heads to school.

“Does being in love mean we’re now texting good morning?” Charlie asks, and Nick replies, “Does that technically qualify as a good morning text?” and “Because technically all I said was ‘hello.’ Charlie thinks he qualifies and replies, “Good morning, love,” heartily. And being his lover, he writes to Nick, comes with “kiss me many times a day.”
