Is Invincible season 2 affected by the actors’ strike?

All eyes are on when Unbeatable Season 2 will be coming to Prime Video. It wasn’t on the list of fall shows to watch out for. Has it been postponed again?

Unbeatable Season 2 was initially delayed due to scheduling conflicts, but we’ve learned that we’ll be getting it sometime later this year. Then Amazon released some of the shows arriving later this year, and this animated series was missing from the list.

The release of the fall shows came right around the time of the actors’ strike. This means that Unbeatable will it be delayed because of this? Or has enough post-production work been done to bring us the series this year?

Invincible Season 2 is still in SDCC 2023

Despite the actors’ strike, Unbeatable is still heading to SDCC 2023. Only creator Robert Kirkman will be on the panel, as all the actors involved are not allowed to attend conventions to promote their shows. Only those who are members of SAG-AFTRA are required to follow the rules of the strike, which is likely how Kirkman can still participate.

It’s worth noting that Amazon has canceled The wheel of time panel because of the strike. This show is still scheduled to premiere in September.

With Unbeatable panel, suggests that post-production work has been completed; at least, enough for the strike not to affect some of its elements. This would suggest that we can get the episodes later this year without too much trouble. We might find out the premiere date during the SDCC panel.

One thing that will be affected is Unbeatable Season 3. I know there are hopes that production on the third season could begin immediately to avoid another long wait, but the world has other ideas.

Unbeatable is available for streaming Prime Video.
