Imlie performs the teeka ritual of Atharva saying that she is marrying her sister and should be ready to follow a new relationship, she will fulfill her responsibility diligently. Shivani tells her that Rudra Imlie smiles even when she is heartbroken for the sake of others, she is really brave. Rudra says he can see her pain. Imlie finishes the teeka ritual and offers sweet to Atharva. Devika gives Shagun an envelope to Atharva and asks him to give it to Imlie. Imlie says she has already given him a lot, he can consider it as an engagement gift from her. Atharva thanks him and says that even he is gifting something to Chini. Keya excitedly asks if she’s giving a diamond necklace or car as a gift. Atharva says it is a gift for both Chini and Kairi. Kairi asks what she will get as a present. Atharva says Chini is her mother. He tells Chini that she has her right and asks Kairi to call Chini mother. Kairi says Chini is her BFF/best friend. Chini asks him to call her mother once. Kairi says she calls daadi as daadi, daadu as daadu, princess mama as princess mama and it would look weird if she calls princess mama aunty.
After the ritual, Rudra tells Devika that everything went very well. Devika says her son has returned home and is remarrying but… Rudra asks what? Chini feels despondent that Kairi will never accept her as a mother. Atharva says the kids are innocent, that Kairi will accept her as a mother eventually. Devika tells Rudra that till Imlie is around Kairi, Kairi will consider Imlie as her mother and not Chini. Chini tells Atharva that once they get married and become a family, Kairi will accept her. Devika tells Rudra that Atharva and Imlie are already divorced and once Atharva marries Chini, Rudra should marry Imlie and Dhairya and send them out of this house after giving them their share. Rudra says Atharva cheated Imlie by having a relationship with her sister, he wants Imlie to really forget Atharva and move on.
Imlie teaches Hindi to Kairi. Kairi asks Imlie to teach her a style of poetry like she used to in a summer camp. Devika asks Rudra if Imlie is a diamond, why does she consider Chini as a stone when Chini took care of Atharva for 5 years. Rudra says she forgot everything after her son came back after 5 years but she forgot how many times Chini tried to harm them. Imlie tutors Kairi in a poetry style. Atharva goes to Kairi and says that her mother Chini is calling her since long. Kairi asks him to speak in a poetry style. Atharva in a poetic style says that a tiger-groom is getting married, but someone does not want to come; the groom wants everyone to attend his wedding. Imlie in a poetry style asks why he came here. It says to ask someone why someone has changed. Imlie answers. Atharva leaves with Kairi. Imlie stands in anger and thinks he wants her to attend, but she should.
Imlie hears a noise in the living room and goes to check. Chini and Keya laugh as they choose a dress for Chini and Atharva’s engagement tomorrow. Keya mocks Ginni for choosing her old outfit and taunts her that when her brother changed his old DIL to a new one, even she should at least change her dress. Chini tells Imlie that there will be a lot of noise during the engagement ceremony tomorrow and Imlie might feel disturbed, so Imlie should stay out of the house tomorrow. Imlie is speechless. Chini asks her to close the room door tightly as she might feel disturbed by her laughter now. Imlie leaves. Devika selects a diamond ring for Cheeni and says that Chini brought her son back after 5 years and even gave her a beautiful granddaughter, a ring is a small gift for her and she would have given the same to anyone who gave her like this of gifts. Keya gets jealous and steals the ring. Akash notices her and tries to stop her in vain. Imlie notices their suspicious act.
