Shlok brings Poonam back home and Dadi assures her that the bad times will soon pass. However, Poonam is still distraught and locks herself in her room, reminiscing about her time in prison. She cries and begs the family members to leave her alone. Bitti thinks that all this cannot be a coincidence and Shlok claims that he understands everything and knows how to stop it.
Meanwhile, Sumeet reaches the end of the street and tries to hide from Raunak. She plans to show the police report to Shlok, proving that Raunak was not present during the marriage night. Raunak shouts Sumeet out and hurriedly throws the report among some papers, making it hard to find. Raunak pretends to help her and burns the papers, including the report. Sumeet is upset as she lost the crucial proof.
Shlok asks Poonam out but she refuses to unlock the door till Sumeet comes out of the house. He tells her that he will get engaged to Bitti, hoping that Poonam will come out. He asks her to make arrangements for the engagement. Sumeet cleverly picks up the report from the ashes, making Raunak think that it has burned. She sends an audio message to Shlok, informing him that she has evidence to prove that she married Shlok, not Raunak.
Pankhuri hears the message and informs Shagun. Shagun asks Pankhuri to delete the message, assuming that Sumeet is just creating drama. However, Shagun later informs Raunak about the proof. Meanwhile, Sumeet overhears the neighbors discussing Shlok’s engagement and decides to stop it. Raunak confronts Sumeet, showing him a video of Shagun trying to harm Vani. He threatens Sumeet asking her to burn the report or else Vani’s life will be in danger. Fearing for Vani’s safety, Sumeet reluctantly burns the paper.
But Sumeet becomes more determined to prove her marriage with Shlok. She stops Shlok from getting engaged to Bitti, but he declares that Bitti is his fiancee and tells Sumeet to leave the house. Sumeet refuses to leave until the end of the 21 days. Shlok expresses his anger at Sumeet and she recalls her memories with him, crying silently during the engagement.
Raj meets Shagun and asks her to leave Sumeet alone, but Raunak teases him for begging. Raj agrees to do what Shagun says if it brings happiness to Sumeet. Shlok’s hand becomes infected and the doctor suggests that it may be a consequence of the chemicals released by a tattoo. Shlok remembers Sumeet and the tattoo artist’s words but dismisses the thoughts. However, Sumeet assures Shlok that he will prove that he is her husband.
PreCap: Shagun says to Sumeet that by now you must know that I have held a press conference where it will be proved that you are Raunak’s wife, this time I have brought such proof that you will not be able to prove wrong.
Raunak is caught by Sumeet and she asks him about the evidence.
