If you’re in the mood for a dark comedy, you’ll want to wait until later this week on Amazon’s Prime Video. I’m a Virgo will deliver exactly what you need. This coming-of-age story isn’t just a comedy, though. It’s set in a fantasy world that makes it 100 times better.
The series follows a 13-foot black man who has been hidden his entire life. After all, his parents wanted to keep him safe. He grew up with only comics and TV shows to keep him company, but everything changes when he escapes.
He gets to see life for himself. Of course, there are a lot of people who fear him, but there are others who are willing to give him a chance. Then there is his idol, the real superhero Hero. Sounds like a well thought out superhero name.
When can you watch I’m a Virgo on Prime Video?
New episodes will appear immediately on Prime Video. The official release date is Friday, June 23, and this is a global release. This means it falls at midnight UK time.
That’s great news for those of us in North America. We’re likely to get the release around 7:00 PM ET/4:00 PM PT on Thursday, June 22nd. There is no guarantee that this happens, but it happens more often than not. I’ve even seen it with bigger releases like The wonderful Mrs. Maisel and City recently so we are waiting for the early release with this one.
If it’s not available immediately, it will be on Prime Video by midnight local time.
