Zaan Khan on TV show ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai’ is coming to an end
Zaan Khan, who recently joined the cast of the TV show ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai’, has expressed his lack of surprise about the upcoming end of the show. The series is set to bid farewell to viewers in the second week of July. Zaan, understanding the nature of the industry, sees the conclusion of the show as a normal business event.
The actor spoke about it in a recent interview and shared, “I was happy to be given a character that was very different from my previous roles. He was a new love interest for Gaura. While it’s disappointing that the show is ending next month, it’s not an unusual situation. In the television industry, you never know when a show might go off the air or end in weeks or months. I was informed that my character would last for a month, so I was ready to give it my all.”
Aspiring to explore opportunities in films, Zaan also expresses his desire to focus on films. He states, “I also want to venture into the world of cinema. On TV, I prefer roles that are shorter so I can pursue film projects as well.”
Zaan has been a part of various TV shows like ‘Maitree’, ‘Vanshaj’ and ‘Kyun Uthe Dil Chod Aye’. The actor appreciates the opportunity to play various roles in recent months. About his role in ‘Meri Saas Bhoot Hai’, he adds, “It was an easier and less stressful role compared to my previous roles. I’m currently filming for the show. It will be disappointing if it ends next month as it was a good role and offered something different for me.”
